The Arts Alliance's "Mountain Links: NH Traditions" project brings partner programs exploring traditions that have developed in -- or been brought to -- New Hampshire throughout its history.
These programs -- which highlight both heritage music and craft traditions -- feature NH State Council on the Arts Traditional Arts roster artists. Whenever possible, these programs are presented in partnership with local history/heritage organizations at their venues or, if their facilities lack sufficient space, at town halls or schools. Many include an in-school component of workshops and assemblies, a community workshop, and a social gathering in addition to a concert or community dance.
