Description: This 19th C. Grafton County Courthouse and 20th C. Haverhill Academy gymnasium and auditorium has been restored to serve the community as a center for the fine and performing arts as well as an interpretive center for the visitor.

The building was the center of activity during court sessions in this busy 19th C. shire town. When the RR bypassed Haverhill Corner, the court and businesses moved to Woodsville. The building was unused until the Haverhill Academy class of 1919 bought it

Hours: Daily mid-June to mid-Oct, 10am-4pm and year-round events
Admission:

Directions: From Route 10, turn east onto Court Street, between the two commons in Haverhill Corner. Alumni Hall is the fourth building on left.

Programs Offered: North Country Chamber Players Concerts, art shows, craft shows, concerts, theater, dances and other community events listed in local news media calendars.

Directions: The building is on Route 10 about a mile north of the commons.

Programs Offered: A visit from a 19th C. teacher (actor) is held annual for children from the local elementary school.

Description: Built in 1816 to serve both Haverhill Academy and Grafton County Court, this building has seen many modifications and uses by the school from private academy to public elementary school and most recently middle school.

Hours: Not open until restoration is completed.

Directions: From Route 10, turn east around the north common.

Notes: Now unused, it is to be restored by Haverhill Historical Society to serve as its museum and research center. Evidence of the original dual circular twin staircases has recently been uncovered and will be used as a guide in restoration.
